What makes Osea island perfect for Bird Watching?

Osea Island is a sanctuary for wildlife and a designated site of special scientific interest. It is the only place in England where all five species of English Owl can be seen.

Other species that can be seen include; Brent Goose, Curlew, Dunnock, Gadwell, Golden plover, Goldfinch, Grey Partridge, Hen Harrier, Kestral, Mallard, Meadow Pipit, Merlin, Oyster catcher, Pintail, Reshank, Reed Bunting, Reed Wabler, Ringed Plover, Sedge Warbler, Shelduck, Skylark, Teal, Turtle Dove, Whimbrel, Whitethroat, Wigeon and Yellow Hammer.

Day and night watches can be pre-arranged for groups or individuals.
